CHARLES KIM •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Charles Kim is a lead pastor of Journey Christian Fellowship. His educational background includes degrees from Biola University, Talbot School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University(Peter Drucker School of Management. He also has studied at Oxford University, Templeton College in the area of Globalization.

He is a bi-vocational pastor with a vision of integrating work and faith. His current and previous professional experience include consulting and developing markets for multi-national companies as well as strategical planning for several non-profit organizations.

He is currently producing following events : JAMA New Awakening and FRESH. He also plays executive role for Encounter Devotional Journal and Sarang Global Network.

He's also busy raising two very active boys (Calvin-the Spiderman, Caleb-the Purple Power Ranger and a new born princess, Charlene. He's lucky to be married to Cathy whom he met during Saebukgido-dawn prayer meeting. Charles and his family live in Stevenson Ranch, CA.

 

TIMOTHY LIN •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Tim Lin is a pastor with a unique background of experiencing the supernatural, life-transforming power of God. While he was deeply into Buddhism and various forms of idol worship, God brought him to his knees through the prayer of his wife and friends. Since accepting Christ in his heart, he dedicated his life for the LordÕs work.

After wrapping up his successful business, he chose a new career and started to attend Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. He has completed a degree in World Missions and currently pursuing bi-vocational ministry. He is also a graduate of USC. Tim, his wife, Esther and Danny who just entered Junior high school lives in Arcadia, CA.

 

LAWRENCE CHEN (Currently residing in Hong Kong) •••••••••••••

Lawrence Chen, our part time pastor, graduated from Cornell University, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and the Rosemead School of Psychology. Currently, he is practicing as a licensed psychologist in Hong Kong.

He worked as a youth minister with young people and their families for twelve years. Lawrence also taught seminary and practiced psychotherapy in Hong Kong for five years. He was involved in bereavement counseling training and supervised professional counselors. He had also been part of a multi-ethnic city-center church in Hong Kong facilitating strategic development.

He has spoken at public and private organizations in around the world and the United States, in areas as diverse as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Boston, Grand Rapids, Atlanta, London, and Moscow.

He loves to swim and eat out with his wife Sharon. They love movies and music and enjoy concerts, dances, plays and outdoor activities with friends.
